Sei-ichiro Ishimaru (Japan)

Sei-ichiro was raised in a family who always had dogs and in l993, he was introduced to Italian Greyhounds and instantly fell in love with them.
In 1994, Sei-ichiro and his parents co-founded Flash Shower Italian Greyhounds in Tokyo, Japan.

Flash Shower Italian Greyhounds has developed trusting relationships and camaraderie with prestigious overseas breeders in the USA, Australia, Finland and other places, from whom they acquire mating partners for their dogs. Sei-ichiro and his parents are committed to breeding quality Italian Greyhounds.

By 2015, the dogs bred and owned by Flash Shower had won awards for nineteen consecutive years.

In her glory years, FCI JKC CH Flash Shower JP Miss Perfect, among them, was awarded Best In Show more than twenty times. She also placed fifth among Japan Kennel Club (JKC) All Breeds.

Sei-ichiro began showing dogs as an owner-handler when he was a college student. He has shown and won multiple Best in Shows. He has also won multiple Group Placements at the FCI Asia lnternational Dog Show.

At present, Sei-ichiro is certified to judge All Groups recognised by the Japan Kennel Club . He has judged at dog shows in Japan, USA, Poland. Colombia, France, Russia, Lithuania, Gibraltar and Australia including many Specialty Shows and FCI International Dog Shows.

Sei-ichiro is the president of the JKC Southern Tokyo Italian Greyhound Club which is the only Italian Greyhound Specialty Club in Asia. He is also a member of the Italian Greyhound Club of America. Sci-ichiro is also a licensed real estate broker and runs his own business as well his work as being co-­founder of Flash Shower Italian Greyhounds. He continues his joyful life with his dog.


Masato Igawa (Japan)


Masato Igawa is an FCI, AKU and JKC All Breeds Judge. He is also Chairperson of the JKC Hokuriku Koshinetsu Block Judges Committee.

Masato has been involved in breeding and showing Dachshunds since 1990 and has also been involved in showing Borzois, Alaskan Malamutes, American Akitas, Bernese Mountain Dogs, English Springer Spaniels, Dobermanns and so on.
He was approved as an All Breed judge in 2013 and has been judging at many dog shows throughout Japan including the FCI International Dog Shows.
Masato has also judged at shows in Taiwan, China, Philippines, Australia (Including Royal Show), Russia and Mexico.
